Obituary

SEDGWICK / BENTLEY,   KANSAS

LOIS  MAXINE  (BLACK)  COLLINS, 90, passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2018. She was born in Renfrow, Oklahoma to Cecil and Dorothy (French) Black. After her Dad Cecil passed away, her mom Dorothy married to Harold Pearson whom raised Lois and her brothers. . She was a graduate of North High School, Wichita, Kansas. On February 15, 1947 in Bentley, Kansas, she married Harold Lee Collins. They lived, raised their family and worked their Dairy Farm. Lois was longtime member of the Rebeccas and a 4-H Club leader. She loved playing Canasta and enjoyed time with her family. She is survived by her son Brad Collins of Bentley; grandchildren, Matthew (Alaine) Collins and Heather Pappas; great grandchildren, Alex Randall, Cole Collins, Amery Branch and Jessica Anderson; her sister-in-law Bessie Black; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her father Cecil Black, parents Dorothy and Harold Pearson, brother Bill Black, brother and sister-in-law Jerry and Lorraine Black. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated in her memory to the Bentley Senior Center, 504 E. Sterling, Bentley, Ks 67016. Service will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, February 3, at the Bentley Senior Center, 504 E. Sterling, Bentley, Kansas. Graveside will be held at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 13530 W. 109 th St. N., Bentley, Kansas. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
