After fighting for many years with cancer, it is with much sadness we announce Lisa Chippeaux has passed away. She was surrounded by family in Newton, Kansas on Monday, September 28, 2026. Lisa lived a life centered in love, kindness and compassion. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, neightbor, and friend.  Her love, kindness and laughter were poured into everyone around her. Her kindness, warmth and willingness to be there for anyone left a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to have known her. Lisa will be remembered for the way she filled the room with laughter, the relationships she built, the memories she created and the love she shared throughout her life. Lisa was born in Georgia, raised in California and relocated to Kansas shortly after having her daughters.

She is survived by her children: Cody and Cory Chippeaux, Sereena Sims (Jamie Brunzell), Chantel Mills; her grandchildren: Cadance Guidry (Eli Guidry), Haylee Berger, Hannah Landrum (Curtis Landrum), Alyssa Hiser, Kloie Berger, Kaleb Stackley, Bailey Funk, Kamber Berger, and Jack Brunzell; her great grandchild Zy'mir Guidry; multiple brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, many other family and friends.
