Linda Kaylee (Newman) Orvis, 56, beloved wife, sister, aunt and friend, passed away, Sunday, August 3, 2014. She was born in Cortez, Colorado to Donald Newman and Nona (Cordes) Newman. She was raised here in Wichita and attended Heights High School. August 2, 1996. She married the love of her life, Donald Orvis, who survives her. She is also survived by her sisters Donna (Greg) Pollock and Patty (Clint) Schoonover; brother-in-laws Terry (Cindy) Orvis and David Orvis; step-mother-in-law Jeanette Orvis; nieces Tara Mosier, Rachael Schoonover, Ariel (Kevin) White and Nona Bravo; nephews Augustine Ellis, Brock Mosier and Cyle Schoonover; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Donald and Nona Newman, and nephews Austin Pollock and Bryce Mosier. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 6 and Services 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 7, both held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Memorials to the American Cancer Society, 330 S.
