Moore, Linda Lou (Mayfield), 73, retired cook, telephone operator and caregiver, beloved mother, grandma, sister and friend, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2011. She was born on a farm in rural Cherokee County, Kansas to Roy Don Mayfield and Josephine Ada (Wells) Mayfield. She is survived by her daughter, Laura (Randy) Taylor of Valley Center; grandchildren, Ryan Taylor and Logan Taylor; brother, Donald Mayfield. She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Josephine Mayfield, brother, Ivan Mayfield and sister, Wanda Dalton. Services 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 19, at Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center. www.bakerfhvc.com
