Linda Sue Mitchell, 73, passed away on December 1 ^st , 2020, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born on November 16, 1947 in Wichita, Kansas to Charles and Aileen Davis (Sullivan).

Sue was a graduate of North High School in Wichita, Kansas.  She worked for The Wichita Eagle for many years and later worked for Service Master.

Sue was married to Robert Mitchell "Steve" on May 2, 1987 and they resided in Newton, Kansas and later moved to Wichita, Kansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Aileen Davis (Sullivan).

She is survived by her husband Steve, brothers Terry Davis and Jerry Davis, sister Lois Downen, daughters Stefanie Arebalo (Dixon), Melissa Arndt (Dixon), Tracie Castle (Mitchell) and Vanessa Roberts (Mitchell), sons Mike Mitchell and Jason Mitchell.  She had 17 grandchildren and 13 great grand children.

Sue was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother.  She enjoyed camping with Steve and friends.  She loved feeding and watching her birds outside.  She considered the orioles, hummingbirds, cardinals, finches and woodpeckers all her pets.  She loved watching her favorite team, the Yankees, play baseball. Sue and Steve were long standing members of the Midian Shrine and she enjoyed attending CSSA yearly as well as many other activities with friends.
