Linda Milligan, 82, of Valley Center, Kansas passed away Friday, August 1, 2025.  She was born in Wichita and adopted by John B. and Louise Hardee of Wichita, KS.  Linda graduated from East High School in Wichita prior to receiving her degree in Elementary Education from the University of Kansas. Linda, a lifelong Jayhawk fan, spent the entirety of her 35 plus year fulltime education career as a teacher and librarian for the Wichita school district. After retiring from full-time teaching, she helped several home school families in the area including her own grandkids.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Bryant, sister Donna, and husband Larry. She is survived by her sons John of Wichita, Sam and beloved daughter-in-law Kara of Valley Center, grandchildren Jeramiah, Gabriella, Makayla and Elianah, other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday, August 9th at the Valley Center Christian Church, 1801 E 5th, Valley Center. A reception will follow after the service.
