LINDA  JEAN (WOODS) MENDOZA, 67, passed away on April 14, 2016.  She was born to Ralph Moore Woods and Vera Evelyn (Carter) Woods in Pratt, Kansas. She was a certified Nurses Aide and worked in some of the nursing homes giving love and care. She is survived by her husband Santos Mendoza; son Carlos Mendoza and his wife Zuleia of Newton; daughter Martha Fleming and her husband Steve of Wichita; grandchildren Natalia Vela, Brianna Mendoza Louren Fleming and Dixie Mendoza; brothers Mac Woods and C.B. Woods, both of Dodge City; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Vera Woods, sisters Yolanda Woods, Elizabeth Harrod and Dixie Ruiz. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, April 18 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
