Highfill, Linda Sue (Capps), 60, BRC Accountant, beloved mom, grandma, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on Sunday, July 22, 2012. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Edward Sr. and Juanita Capps. Linda was a 1970 Valley Center High School Graduate. She is survived by her son, Doug and Karen Dill of Hutchinson; grandchildren, Kenny Purnell, Amber Purnell and Allen Blais II; great grandchild, Abrayah Howard; mother, Jaunita Capps of Valley Center; sisters, Debra Sizemore of Valley Center and Karen Capps of Valley Center; brothers, Edward Capps, Jr. of Valley Center and Dale Capps of Valley Center; sister-in-law, Betty Brown of Valley Center. She is preceded in death by her husband, Michael Highfill, father, Edward H. Capps, Sr., brother, Steven Carl Capps, brother-in-laws, James Brown and Walter Ray Brown, and mother-in-law, Virginia Ruth Brown. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Wednesday, July 25, will be held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Services 9:30 a.m., Thursday, July 26, will be held at Riverview Baptist Church, 844 W. 53rd St. N., Wichita. Graveside following the service at Sunnydale Park Cemetery, 10307 N.
