Obituary

NEWTON, KANSAS

LILLIAN  FERN  (EPP)   DICK  VIGNERON , 92, entered into her heavenly home on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Asbury Park, Greenhouse 1213, Newton, KS.. She was born in Waldheim, Saskatchewan, Canada to Henry Regier Epp and Anna (Janzen) Epp.  She was a graduate of Buhler High School, Buhler, Kansas.  She was an exceptional homemaker and mother. Later in life she worked at Armand's Windows and Cabinets beside her husband. She was passionate about cooking and as an exceptional cook, wonderful & beautiful mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend. She never knew a stranger and always gave people her undivided attention, making everyone feel special and important. Lillian was a longtime member of the First Mennonite Church of Halstead, where she enjoyed singing in sextet and the church choir. She enjoyed cross stitch, especially making baby blankets for each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. As a child, she loved raising chickens which carried into adulthood when she raised them. She loved gardening and canning vegetables from her garden. However, Lillian's greatest love and joy was her family (especially the grandkids and later great grandchildren).

Lillian is survived by her children, Russell Vigneron (Susan), LuAnn Laswell (Robert), Stephen Vigneron (Suzanne), and Nancy Riley (Louis). Grandchildren, Brian Riley (Christy), Stacey Riley Jackson (Matt), Geoffrey Vigneron (Jenny), Melanie Safly (Mark), Marcel Vigneron (Lauren), Patrick Vigneron (Kathy) James Vigneron (Jenna), Cameron Laswell (Kelley), Amber Doyle (Matt), Corey Laswell (Lori), Aaron Laswell; 20 great grandchildren; her sister Lorene Graber; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husbands Fred E. Dick and Armand C. Vigneron, her parents Henry and Anna Epp, and brother Richard Epp.
