LILLIAN R. VALENTINE, 104 years of age, of Beatrice, passed away at the Homestead House in Beatrice, NE. Wednesday evening, April 17, 2013
She was born on Oct 16, 1908 in Alta Vista, Kansas. She grew up on the farm where she was born, later married Arthur C. Valentine on Oct 29, 1929. They raised three sons and were formerly from Valley Center, Kansas. She loved family, traveling, and handiwork. She moved to Beatrice in January 1998.
Survivors include 2 sons, Richard Valentine, wife Martha of Laramie, WY, Ralph Valentine wife Lyla of Beatrice, Ne; grandchildren, Kim Valentine (Erin) Bentonville Ar., Karen (Valentine) Pond (Jim) Laramie WY. , Keith Valentine, Bentonville, Ar. , Pamela (Valentine) Hausman (Ron) Pickrell, Ne. , Paul Valentine (special friend Diane) Beatrice, Ne., Steve Valentine (Penny) Carmel, IN., Cindy (Valentine ) Zortman (Mike) Sargent Bluff, Ia., Brenda (Valentine) Abramovich (Mike), Cincinnati, Oh., Lori (Valentine) Cooper, Whiting, IA.,David Valentine (Jennifer), Brownsburg, In.; 18 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Ed and Anna Mayer, husband Arthur Valentine, Brother Cecil Mayer and sister Margarete Scoggins, Son Jack Valentine and wife Sally, Granddaughter Julie Valentine, Gary Cooper Grandson in law and Lari Valentine Granddaughter in Law. Inurnment with graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 25, 2013 in Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N.
