Leslie Joseph Safarik, 76, passed away on Sunday, January 2, 2022 in Wichita Kansas.

He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Jerry Joseph Safarik and Edna (Thimesch) Safarik.  He attended Wichita area schools and graduated Wichita North High School.  After graduation he worked as a machinist at various aircraft and local companies.

He is preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Edna Safarik, brothers Larry Safarik and David Safarik.

Survived by his brothers Gene Safarik, Allan Safarik, sisters Elaine Safarik, Linda (Safarik) Ueeck.

Funeral mass will be held Friday, January 21, 2022 at 11:00 am. St. Jude Catholic Church, 3030 N. Amidon, Wichita, Kansas.

Burial will be immediately following at Resurrection Cemetery, 1640 N. Maize Wichita, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be designated in his memory to St. Jude Catholic Church.
