WICHITA
Wedan, LeRoy "Roy" W., 84, Korean War Veteran and retired petroleum/gas industry draftsman died unexpectedly Christmas Eve December 24, 2013. Born early Easter Sunday March 31, 1929 in Cloquet, MN the fifth of six children of George and Signe (Asplund) Wedan. Preceding him in death were his parents and sisters Genevieve Anderson, Inez Fife and Doris James. He is survived by life companion Ann Wedan, daughter Carmen (Edward) Golledge, son Kevin R. Wedan, brother Dick (Bonnie) Wedan, Wichita, sister Lorraine Vignatelli, Oklahoma City, sisters- and brothers-in-law Beverly and Dennis Cook, Wichita, and Rosilea and Kenneth Hodson, Anderson, MO, numerous nephews and nieces, and beloved cat "Baby Katie." His passions included morning coffee and cinnamon rolls, the family pets, and decorating the perfect tree every Christmas. A celebration of Roy's life will be held Sunday, January 26, 2014 2:00 p.m. at Botanica; The Wichita Gardens, 701 Amidon Wichita, KS 67203.
