Christiansen, Leon Edward, 89, retired Boeing Aircraft Machinist, passed away Sunday, April 28, 2013. He was born in Wichita, Kansas to Fred Paul Christiansen and Goldie Emma (Cornelius) Christiansen. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife Katherine Larson Christiansen; son, Leon (Vickie) Christiansen Jr.; daughters, Kathleen (Tim) Sinnott and Christine (Don) Astle; grandchildren, Tawnya (Jason) Swanson, Trey (Hollie) Astle, Dal (Elizabeth) Astle, Michael Astle, Matthew Christiansen and Amy Christiansen; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild; niece, Susie (Bob) Fowler White and nephew, Leon (Shirley) Burlingame; step children, Rick (Sharon) Larson, John (Sharon) Larson and Mary Wallace. He is preceded in death by his first wife Norma (Helt) Christiansen, grandson Michael Sinnott, parents Fred Christiansen and Goldie Boyce and sister Sue Burlingame. Graveside 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4 at White Chapel Cemetery, 1824 N. Oliver, Wichita. Memorials in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S.
