Weir, Larry Dean, 71, retired Commodity Broker, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2012. He was born in Nashville, Kansas to James M. Weir and Ruth (Miller) Weir. He is survived by his children, Brenda Chandler of Valley Center and Dean Weir of The Colony, TX; grandchildren, Carley Weir, Zakary Weir, Kayla Weir, David Chandler and Jared Chandler; great grandchildren, Hunter Johnson, Tanner Johnson and Blake Johnson; sisters, Barbara Morti of Hutchinson, and Beverly DeWeese of Cunningham. He is preceded in death by his son, Steve Weir, and parents, James and Ruth Weir. Visitation 3-5 p.m., Sunday, August 5, Services 9:30 a.m., August 6, both at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
