Obituary

SALINA, KANSAS

LARRY GENE HINKLE , 76, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017. He was born in Salina, Kansas to Garland E. Hinkle and Irene Mae (Williams) Hinkle. He taught at Hillcrest High School and went on to receive his Master's Degree. He married the love of his life, Lou, on November 26, 1964 in Lindsborg, Kansas. To this union were two beautiful daughters. Larry had a passion for life, teaching, a great sense of humor, poker, antiques and Elvis; but most of all he enjoyed his family. He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Doug) Plummer and Wanda Hinkle; brother Garland (Sue) Hinkle; sister Sue (Chuck) Engel; grandchildren, Drew and Alyssa Smith, Morgan, Vanessa, Grant, Hannah and Aidan Peterson, John and Sam Plummer; significant other Terry McPherson; many other family and friends. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the Spring. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
