Brock, Kenneth "Fred", 76, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012. He was born in Nappanee, Indiana to Lowell "Tom" Brock and Francis Agnes (Ellis) Brock. Fred was a truck driver for Windsor Mobile Homes out of Bristol, Indiana and Newton, Kansas. He retired while driving for Crete Carrier Corp. in Crete, Nebraska. After his retirement, he was the Animal Control Officer for the City of Halstead and Sedgwick, Kansas for over 10 years. He was an avid RC airplane builder and flyer. On May 30, 1980, he married Susan (Baker) Brock. He is preceded in death by his son, Randy Holderman, his brother-in-law, Ray Yeager, and nephew, Michael Miller, along with his parents. He is survived by his his wife, Susan; children, Rhonda (Walden) Regier of Newton, Kimberly Kamp, Renee (Robert) Bolton of Newton, Robyn (Richard) Schmidling of Halstead, Mark (Karletta) Brock of Newton; Greg (Roberta) Brock and Tim Brock; grandchildren, Christopher Brock, Levi Brock, Colton Brock, Michael Regier, Rebecca Regier, Matthew Regier, Rachael Regier, Travis Brock, Richard Bolton, Kenneth Schmidling, Kody Keiser, Hannah Keiser, Mikolaus Schmidling, Stephanie Takemire, Kimberly Sanchez, Adam Brock; great grandchildren, Keriah Brock and Cameron Brock; sister, Beth Yeager and brother, Ellis Brock. Services Saturday, Oct. 27 at Crossroad Community Church, 225 Main, Halstead. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be designated to Caring Hands Humane Society, 1400 SE 3rd St, Newton, Ks 67114.
