VALLEY CENTER, KANSAS

KENNETH  ROY  BARNETT , 68, was called to his heavenly home on Sunday, May 12, 2019. He was born in Kingman, Kansas to Carl Richard Barnett and Pauline (Born) Barnett. He attended Valley Center schools and was a graduate of Valley Center High School with the Class of 1968. He met and married the love of his life, Karen Larita Brown on July 31, 1970. Kenneth worked as a supervisor and retired after 35 years from Boeing – Spirit Aero System. He loved golfing and enjoyed being an outdoorsman. He was a dedicated father to his sons, devoted husband to his wife Karen of 44 years who preceded him in 2014, and a wonderful brother.

Kenneth leaves behind his two sons, Jason (Sherry) Barnett of TN and Matthew Barnett of Sedgwick; sisters Margaret (Carlos) Jacobs and Mary (Dave) Rathbun; brothers Everett Barnett and Eugene (Bonita) Barnett; other relatives and friends.  He is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 44 years, Karen Barnett; and parents Carl and Pauline Barnett.

Visitation 4-6 p.m., Thursday, May 16, and Service 10 a.m., Friday, May 17, both held at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Graveside following at Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
