Keith Wayne Newcomer passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas at the age of 79.  He was born December 7, 1943 to Ira A. Newcomer and Wanda (Spani) Newcomer.

He was raised in rural Valley Center where he attended school and was a 1963 graduate of Valley Center High School.  Keith had a deep love for the land, agriculture, farming and cattle.  He also treasured all animals both wild and domestic tending to their care.  You would find him visiting with neighbors and other farmers in the midst of his hard work with long hours.

Keith is survived by the love of his life, Delores, son Matthew Newcomer and daughter Christi Tilson (Eric); brother Dean Newcomer and sister Patricia Waltner (Eugene); many loved nephews and nieces, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in his memory to Caring Hands Humane Society, 1400 SE 3rd, Newton, Ks 67114  and Kansas Humane Society, 3313 N. Hillside, Wichita, Ks 67219.

Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, December 11,  and  Service 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 12, both will be held at the Kechi United Methodist Church, 4533 E 61st St N, Kechi, Kansas 67067.  Graveside following at the Kechi Township Cemetery 6523 N. Hillside, Wichita, Kansas.
