WICHITA, KANSAS
KAY CHARLENE (O'BRIEN) THOMAS
, 74, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017. She was born in Cambridge, Kansas to Harvey Allen O'Brien and Lola Isabelle (Skinner) O'Brien. She married Jerry Max Thomas and to this union were three children. Kay worked as a secretary for the L. & L. Moving Company 20 years. She then enjoyed quietness and was content being at home. She is survived by her children Christina Fowler, Brent (Cathy) Thomas and Bradley Thomas; grandchildren Christopher Fowler, Maegan Kater and Michelle Embry; 7 great grandchildren; sister Joyce Tucker. She is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Jean Olvera, Bev White and ex-husband Jerry Thomas. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that memorials in her memory may be designated to the Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market, Wichita, Kansas 67202.
A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 a.m., Thursday, September 21, at the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.
