Kathy Elan Wass, 60, passed away on Thursday, April 14, 2022. She was a beloved and devoted wife, mother, sister and aunt who was taken too soon.

She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Wendell R. Hewes and Joyce (Rice) Hewes. She was raised and attended schools in the Wichita, Kansas area.  Kathy enjoyed painting on canvas, reading, watching tv, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Fran Keehn and niece Daisy Lynn.

Kathy is survived by the love of her life, her husband Kenneth Wass, daughter Maranda Wass, brother Wendell 'Bud' Hewes, sister Judy Wallin, nieces Aimee Lynn and Sarah Douglas, beloved friends Karen Miller and Peg Moore.
