Schmidt, Kathleen Annette (Delk), 72, retired medical records clerk, passed away March 25, 2015. She was born in Goessel, Kansas to Clifford Delk and Evelyn Ruth (Warkentin) Delk. She was a graduate of Hillsboro High School, Hillsboro, Kansas. She worked at Claremore Regional Hospital and Via Christi St. Francis as a medical records and coding clerk. She is survived by her husband Phillip Schmidt; children Dwight (Crystal) Johnson of Hillsboro, Darrin Schmidt of Wichita and Aimee Davis of Wichita; grandchildren Patrick (Petra) Johnson of Oklahoma City, OK, Brooke (David) Phillips of Newton, Hunter Davis and Zander Davis both of Wichita; brother Jim (Elaine) Delk of Hillsboro; sisters Margaret (Martin) Tice of Marion, Beverly (Allen) Flaming of Pagosa Springs, CO and Pamela Abbott of Hillsboro; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Evelyn Delk. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Monday, March 30; and Services 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, March 31, held at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center.
