It is with heavy hearts that we announce that Karen Taylor (77) passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 5, 2026 in Wichita, KS. Karen married her sweetheart, Vernon Taylor, in the Oakland California Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Family was the center of her world. She was an excellent homemaker, talented baker, and loved gardening, music, and traveling. She dedicated her life to the gospel of Jesus Christ and ministering to others. She leaves behind a lasting legacy. Families are forever and we love you eternally!

Karen is preceded in death by her parents and sister. She is survived by her husband, four daughters, and four siblings. She also leaves behind eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many other relatives.

A viewing will be held June 17, 2026 from 7:30 PM - 9 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 528 W. 5th St., Valley Center, KS. The funeral will be at the same location on June 18, 2026 at 9 AM, followed by a graveside burial service at 12 PM at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College St., Winfield, KS 67156.
