KAREN ANN (WILKINSON) POLLY

73, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016. She was born to Jessie and Frances Wilkinson. Growing up in Lambert, Oklahoma, Karen was a 1960 graduate of Lambert High School and moved to Wichita, Kansas to attend Wesley's School of Nursing. As a student nurse, she met and married Clark Polly on June 2, 1963. Karen was a dedicated registered nurse for 39 years at Wesley Medical Center. She is preceded in death by her father Jessie Wilkinson, mother Francis (Fox) Brune, and step-father Herman Brune. Karen is survived by her husband of 52 years, Clark; daughters Christina (Tim) Long, Michelle (Dwight) Wilkes; grandchildren, Brindilyn (Chris) Stables, Austin Wilkes and Hunter Long; great grandchild Corbin Stables; brothers Ronnie (Brenda) Brune and Frank Brune; sister Saundra (John) Boyd; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
