VALLEY CENTER, KANSAS
KAREN RUTH CAPPS,
59, beloved mom, grandma, daughter, sister and friend was taken too early on Saturday, February 17, 2018. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Edward Howard Capps Sr. and Jaunita Ruth (Snyder) Capps. She is lifetime resident of Valley Center, attending schools and graduating from Valley Center High School. She has been a USD 259 Food Nutrition Technician for many years. Karen loved shopping with her mom, walking with her sister, attending her grandson's football and basketball games, she enjoyed it all. She had a love for her furry kids, Haas and Tessa. But most of all she had a deep love and devotion for her family, they were her life. Karen is survived by her mom Jaunita Capps of Valley Center; her son Michael Capps and grandson Chaz Capps of Wichita; sister Debra Sizemore of Valley Center; brothers Dale Capps and Edward Capps Jr. of Valley Center; many other family and friends. She was preceded in death by father Edward Howard Capps Sr, brother Steven Capps, sister Linda Highfill. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Friday, February 23, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 24, at Riverview Baptist Church, 844 W. 53rd N., Wichita. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
