Walden, Rev. Junior Sylvester, 82, went to be with his Lord on Monday, Sept. 26, 2011. He was a U.S. Army and World War II Veteran. He is survived by his wife, Pastor Loucille Walden; daughter, Ramona (Jim) Rowley of Winfield; grandchildren, Crystal, Mistie (Jeff), Carrey (Curtis), Stacey, Peter (Crystal) and Jake; brother Jerry (P.I.) Cox of Ada, OK; sister, Dee Anderson of Ada, OK; mother-in-law, Pastor Virginia Montgomery; many family and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Nova Cox, infant son Stephen Walden, sisters Nadine Hooper and Rose Jones, father-in-law Everett Montgomery. Visitation 5-7 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 29; Service 10:30 a.m., Friday, Sept 30, both at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center. Burial will be held at 2 p.m. at the Kansas Veteran's Cemetery, 1208 N. College St., Winfield. Memorials may be designated to the Family. Baker Funeral Home, Valley Center has charge.
