Obituary

Junior Arthur Mahan , 87, retired Cudahy. Cessna Aircraft, Coleman, and USD 259 driver, passed away on Monday, May 1, 2017. He was born in Ava, Missouri to William Ambrose Mahan and Dora Augusta Ellen (Duckworth) Mahan. He retired from Cudahy Meats after 24 yrs, Cessna Aircraft, Coleman and then was a USD 259 Bus Driver. He loved hunting and being outdoors. He was a longtime member at Park City Baptist Church where he served the Lord in many areas. He enjoyed life and most of all his family. He is survived by his wife Esther; children, William A. Mahan of Park City, Valerie Mahan of Lake Stevens, WA; grandchildren, Steven (Christel) Rowden, John (Carly) Rowden, Todd Mahan and Angela Mahan; great grandchildren, Angelique, Zach (Blanca) Jacob, Josef, Victoria, Abby; great-great grandchildren Dominic and Jeremiah; sister Fern Ledbetter of Checotah, Oklahoma; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents William and Dora Mahan, brothers Lloyd Mahan, Archie Mahan, and sisters Bonnie Barnes and Eula Price. Visitation 5-7, Tuesday, May 9 at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Service 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 10, at Park City Baptist Church, 1301 E. 61st N., Park City.
