June (Gardipee) Hawbaker's Obituary
WICHITA
Hawbaker, June Gail, 73, retired Dobb's House International Flight catering cook, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2014. She was born in Harlem, Rocky Boy Reservation, Montana to Fred Gardipee and Rose (LaRoque) Gardipee. In 1955 she married the love of her life, Emmett Leroy Hawbaker. June is survived by her sons Olin (Connie) Hawbaker of Wichita and Tony Hawbaker of Wichita; grandchildren Olin Hawbaker, Jr. (Maritza Trivano), Heather Wilson, Ashley Hawbaker, Rachel Hawbaker, Jonathan Coady and Jason Coady; great grandchildren Austin Wilson and Jordyn Wilson; siblings Robert Gardipee, Mary Schleve, Fred Gardipee, Tony Gardipee, Rose Westover; nephew Dan Melbye, great niece Clarissa Melbye; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Emmett Hawbaker, her son Roger Hawbaker, brothers Joey, Richard "Si", Benny and Danny Gardipee. Memorials may be designated to Victory in the Valley, 3755 E. Douglas, Wichita, Ks 67218. Graveside 11 a.m., Monday, April 7, at Maize Park Cemetery, 12733 W. 53 rd St. N., Maize. Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center.
