JUDITH LEE 'JUDI' SCHOENDORF, 70, of Salina, passed away on August 10, 2017. She was born October 4, 1946, in New Orleans, La., to George and Mildred Snyder. Judi graduated from the nursing program at the Pilgrim State Hospital in New York on full scholarship in 1967, spending the next 20 years in nursing. She married Evan Silverman, and the six-year marriage produced two children: David and Melissa. She would remarry twice more. She is survived by her son David Silverman, daughter-in-law Olga and granddaughter Stephanie, of Salina; Melissa Silverman, Tampa, Fla.; and two brothers: Mark, of Little Rock, Ark. and John, of Porter, Texas. She is preceded by her parents. A life celebration will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at Fitzpatrick Auditorium at KWU. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.
