Obituary

Joyce E. Sucht was born in Alabama a coal miners daughter, very poor to Housten Greathouse and Mae (Fortenberry) Greathouse.  At the age of 6 she was given a very special memory from her mom, a hand sewn "coat of many colors". She had 9 brothers and sisters. At the age of 18 she moved to Kansas and married Bob Lawrence, to this union they had 3 children Bobby, David and Tammie. After divorce, she met Don Sucht whom gave her and her children everything they ever needed. They divorced and eventually she met and remained faithful to the love of her life, Jerry Kingsley, whom passed in 1998.  At the age of 60 she lost everything. Thankfully soon after she met Fred Adams, the best man most of us ever knew. She and Fred loved to square dance for 23 years, traveled to 16 states, 5 countries and went on 3 cruises. Finally Joyce was not poor anymore and had a "coat of every color"

Joyce loved to keep her house spotless, a breathtaking yard, style in appearance and spoil her granddaughter Sarah and her great grandchildren Xander, Kash and especially Naomi. She was especially thankful for her daughter-in-law Susan Lawrence.

"I left this world today (February 11, 2026) as I had no reason to stay. I had lost both parents, 9 siblings, 2 husbands, the love of my life Jerry, the best man I knew and loved Fred, my 3 children Tammie, David and Bobby. I was very lonely and sad. Though God gave me a good life for many years. Keep God first for He is the only one to pull you through all the sorrows this world can bring. Goodbye to all of you as I finally get to rest."
