Joyce J. Hardisty, age 88 yrs old, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022, a fter a long illness with COPD. Daughter of William and Kathryn (Stephenson) Sherrill, she was a lifetime resident of Salina, Kansas .  After attending Salina schools and High School graduation, she finished her education at Marymount College in Salina.  She worked at Salina Airport Authority, and then many years at a law office from where she retired.  She loved helping others, yet her greatest joy and love was her family.

She married Dee Hardisty in 1954. To this union were 4 children, but two died at birth. Dee preceded her in death and had passed in 1968.  Joyce lost her companion of 10 yrs, Dewight Lockhart in 1996.

Joyce is survived by her son Kevin Hardisty and daughter Sheryl Musfelt (Ron); grandsons Jesse, Clinton, Daniel Hale; great grandkids Austin, Madison, and Mason Hale; other family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
