Snow I, Jonathan Patrick, 44, former Manager of Food for Less and Dollar Tree, Inc., passed away on Sunday, May 20, 2012, at his home in Maize, Kansas. Jon was born in Granada Hills, California to Carol (White) Cummings of Wichita, Kansas and Leonard Van Snow of San Antonio, Texas. Jon attended West High school in Torrance, California where he met and fell in love with his lifelong partner, Melissa "Missy" Silva. He will be remembered for his kind spirit, his infectious laughter and his great dancing abilities. Jon always made everyone around him smile. He is preceded in death by his his step-mother, Katie Snow and his wife, Missy Snow. In their marriage union, they had a son, Jonathan II and a daughter, Emylee of who Jon dearly cherished and protected until his untimely death. Jon is survived by his children; his parents, Leonard Van Snow, Carol and William Cummings; his brothers, Michael Cobal and Timothy Snow of Wichita, Van (Leslie) Snow II of Torrance, CA, Todd Snow of San Antonio, TX; his sister, Jennifer Haq of Redondo Beach, CA; sister-in-law, Kelli Hernandez of Wichita; his step siblings, Chris and Brian Boano, Linda Rigsby, Kelly Chapman, Todd Schulte, Andy and Chris Williams. These family unions produced many nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Jon loved his family and friends and most of all, loved to make everyone laugh. He was so thoughtful to always make telephone calls to everyone he knew that was having a bad day, a birthday celebration or if a loved one was ill, Jon always was there to offer his support and condolences. He will be missed by all and by many. May you rest in peace, Jon Snow, with your beloved wife. Visitation with the family will be at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Wednesday, May 23, at 6:00 p.m.. Services will be held, Thursday, May 24, at at 11:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 401 N. Westlink, Wichita.
