Jon Leon Nelson, 79, of Valley Center, Kansas, passed away unexpectantly on Thursday, December 31, 2020.  He was born April 25, 1941, in Horton, Kansas to Arthur H. and Ardyce (Shoff) Nelson. He married the love of his life, Sharon Yoho, on January 7, 1968.  Both Jon and Sharon were graduates of Valley Center High School and have resided in Valley Center their entire marriage.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Jerry and sister-in-law Sue Nelson.

Jon is survived by his wife, brother Phil (Virginia) Nelson, daughters Lori Nelson and Lisa Nelson, grandchildren Zachary (Marissa) Gonzalez and Abriana Orona, great grandchildren Bradyn and Nathan Gonzalez, Jacelyn Alvarado, nephews Scott (Paige) Nelson and Steve (Amy) Nelson, great nephews Brett, Tanner and Brady Nelson.

A Service will be held at a later date.
