Johnny Waldo Jones, passed away on July 31, 2021, age 61, at Harry Hynes Hospice Unit, Wichita, Kansas, due to traumatic injuries sustained in a single car accident which occurred on July 19, 2021 at the corners of 4 ^th Street and Corey in Hutchinson, Kansas.  He was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to parents Virgil W. Jones Sr. and Helen L. (Mooney) Jones, who precede him.

Johnny is survived by his sisters:  Brenda McAfee, Tina McCoy both of Hutchinson, Mary Gray (Chuck) of Omaha AR; brothers: Duane (Barbara) of Pratt KS, Virgil Jr (Angela) of Hutchinson, Rickey (Patricia) of Topeka KS, Carl of Winnemucca NV, and Tommie of Hutchinson.

John's greatest joys of life was woodworking and fishing.  Upon his request he willed to be cremated and his remains scattered at his favorite fishing hole.  There will be no services.
