JOHN WAYNE HOLZRICHTER , 71, passed away September 5, 2016. John was born December 8, 1944 in Southwest City, MO to John D. and Betty J. Holzrichter. He loved hunting and fishing, and he excelled at archery and making custom bows. Above all, he loved his family and his many loyal friends. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Sudy Holzrichter, his father and stepmother, John D. and Barbara Holzrichter, and his five children: Andy Holzrichter of Wichita, KS, Dan (Stephanie) Holzrichter of Austin, TX, Randy (Carla) Holzrichter of Depew, OK, Mandy Holzrichter (Roberto Herrera) of Arlington, VA and Annie (Brian) Johnston of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren (Alex, Sara, Heinrich, Zachary, Caleb, and Holli Holzrichter, Jacob Herrera-Holzrichter, Emma & Devin Mathes, Zane Jones, and Julianna Johnston) and three great grandchildren (Lyla, Lucy and Sebastian Holzrichter). He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty J. Holzrichter. A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Minisa Park Community Facility, 704 W. 13th St N. Wichita, KS.
