John Roy Sinclair, II of Newton, Kansas at the age of 67 passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 at the Robert J. Dole Veteran's Hospital, Wichita, Kansas.  He was born in Caribou, Maine to Hollis Kermit Sinclair and Lolita (Michaud) Sinclair Virchow. He was a graduate of Fryeburg Academy , Fryeburg, Maine.  After graduation, John joined the U.S. Army and was a Veteran of the Vietnam War Era.  He eventually moved from Maine to Kansas, where he raised his son.  He worked in the aircraft industry at Beech where he retired as a Crew Chief in Experimental Flight.  John loved hunting, fishing and many outdoor activities.

He is survived by his son John Sinclair III and his wife Tucia of Newton, his grandchildren, his brother Scott K. Sinclair and his wife Lorraine of Fryeburg, Maine, his sisters Deborah Raymond and her husband Claude of Oweare, New Hampshire, and Lisa Lovejoy and her husband Scott of Fryeburg, Maine; other family and friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents.
