JOHN DOYLE HOPPER 'J.D.', 70, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016. He was born to Doyle B. and Juanita Hopper. J.D. was a graduate of South High School, Wichita, Kansas. On April 17, 1965 he married the love of his life, Terry Lea Dooley. He became a barber in 1973, living and working as a hair stylist in California until 1978. He owned Shear Success in Andover, Kansas. He loved working in his barber shop and he was a friend to all, loved his family deeply and those beloved clients he referred to family as 'his friends'. He is survived by his son Mike (Stephanie) Hopper of Andover, daughters Deborah Osborne of Augusta and Kimberly Hopper of Andover; grandchildren, Bryce Hopper, Tiffany Osborne, Jennifer Hopper, Christopher Osborne, Paige Hopper, Andrew Osborne, Luke Hopper and Paris Hopper-Healey; mother Juanita; sister Cindy (Rick) Snyder of Rose Hill; many other family and friends. He is preceded in death and greeted at heaven's gates by his wife Terry Lea Hopper and father Doyle B. Hopper. Services 1:00 p.m., Thursday, August 25 at Central Christian Church, 2900 N.
