John Kendal Floyd Ferguson, 93, of Wichita, Kansas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He was born in Vinita, Oklahoma to Paul Silas Ferguson and Nancy Alice (McArdle) Ferguson. After graduation, he worked many jobs; of which include a film projectionist and a cook. He entered the U.S. Army on July 7, 1943, serving our country until November 17, 1945. He was a World War II Veteran. Once discharged from the military he began working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where he retired after a successful 33 year career. After retirement, he and his wife first owned and operated a lawn service. Later, they established J and J Scent Service, a cleaning company which serviced many local businesses. He enjoyed being an active member in his community; he was a part of organizations such as the Optimist Club, Lyons Club, and even participated in storm chasing. He also found joy in being a bingo caller and doing his part in helping his congregation serve the Lord by volunteering as sound operator at Anchor Church of God. Above all, he loved and cherished caring for, his beloved wife. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Joyce Ferguson; children, Nancy Ferguson, Stephen (Vickie) Ferguson, Larry Ferguson, Julie (Ron) Ricke, Gary Ferguson, Franklyn Neil; 17 grandchildren, many great grandchildren as well as many family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul Ferguson, Nancy Alice and Aaron 'Dutch' Hughes, daughter Karen Leigh (Neil) Hokanson and son Donald Wayne Neil.

will be Wednesday, February 21 There will be a visitation for family and friends at 1:00 p.m. followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 p.m. at the Anchor Church of God, 704 N. Baehr, Wichita Kansas.
