John O. Banta's Obituary
WICHITA, KANSAS
JOHN ORA BANTA,
90 passed away on Friday, July 6, 2018. He served as a Corporal in the United States Air Force and is a retired Insurance Company owner of 50 years. John was born to Harry and Caroline Banta, on April 28, 1928, in Dilworth, Oklahoma. He liked boating, fishing and cars. The greatest joy was his family and friends. John had 2 children by his first wife Lura, along with 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He had 3 step children with his wife Peggy, who is survived of the home, along with 6 step grandchildren and 2 step great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents Harry and Cardine, 3 brothers Eugene, Dale and Jack.
Visitation will be held 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, July 12, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center Chapel, 100 S. Cedar, Valley Center, Kansas, followed by a Private Graveside Service. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
