WICHITA, KANSAS
Turner, Joan (Carroll), 82, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2015. She was born in Fort Scott, Kansas. She was a homemaker and also worked at Villa Maria Nursing Home, Mulvane, Kansas as a Dietary Aide. She is survived by her children Leo (Burma) Turner of Robinson Creek, Kentucky, Ronald (Rhonda) Turner of Derby, Tammy (Robert) Williams of Wichita, Robert (Jeanetta) Turner of Neodesha, and Toney Turner of Wichita; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren; sisters Phyllis (Frankie) Sustarsic of Pittsburg, Kansas and Debbie Hood of Nevada, Missouri; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Leroy Turner, mother Vena Mae (Davis) Jones and brother Larry Davis. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, December 12, at the Longton United Methodist Church, 200 W. Fifth, Longton, Kansas. Baker Funeral Home Valley Center is handling arrangements.
