WICHITA

JOAN ARLENE (MUSICK) BALZER , 75, homemaker, passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Leonard Albert Musick and Iris Ora (Kelty) Musick. She is survived by her children, Cheryl Hare, Bruce Dixon, Cynthia (Larry) Gibson, Susan Hageman, Brian Balzer and Christopher (Janelle) Balzer; grandchildren, Mandi Hollis, Shelly Bloesser, Sherri Rader, Ralyn Brockman, Jeremy Hageman, Shane Hageman, Tommy Balzer, Lara Crawford, Desire Gibson, Tristan Smith, Brandis Gibson, Aiden Balzer; great grandchildren, Kiersten Bloesser, Alyssa Costello, Tyler Hollis, Brianna Hollis, Ely Hollis, Tori Hollis, Landon Rader, Brooke Rader, Wyatt Rader and Casen Crawford; step-father Donald Strausberg; brothers Ray (Sandra) Allen, Jesse Allen, Jr.; sisters Priscilla Lidekee, Ruth Hageman, Cheryl Pomaranz and Denise Mendez; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Malcolm Tommy Balzer, father Leonard Albert Musick and mother Iris Ora Allen.

Services will be held 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 27, with visitation before the service at Faith Christian Church, 2110 W. 45th St. S., Wichita. Graveside will be following the service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita. Memorials may be designated in her memory to Children's Mercy Hospital, 3243 E.
