JEWEL J. DAVIS, 80, passed away on Monday, February 4, 2019.  He was born in Flagler, Colorado to Earl and Muriel (Pratt) Davis. He was raised in Kirk County where he attended school and lived until his senior year when he moved to Denver, Colorado where he graduated from Westminister High School in 1956.  In 1960 he joined the United States Air Force serving until 1965. Most of his service was at Forbes Air Base, Topeka, Kansas with a tour at Osan Air Base in South Korea. Jewel worked a number of years for Frontier Airlines and more recently ran a Commercial Custodian Service.

Jewel is survived by his wife Vera; daughters: Kristen Davis, son Troy, Laurie (Tom) Lewis, sons Alex and Thomas Jewel.  Christine (Mel) Teufel, Alicia, Andrew & Val Teufel.  Ed (Myra) Holmes, daughters Hannah & Crystal.  Sam (Jeri) Holmes, Eli, Jake, Sarah, Rebecca, Jedediah & Isaac.  He was preceded in death by his first wife LaVerna, daughter Sherilynn, brother Dale and sister Linnanel Cecil.

Service will be held Friday, February 8, at 11 a.m., with visitation at 10. Memorials may be designated in his memory to Youth Horizons. Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com
