With heavy hearts we say goodbye to Jerry N. Hoefgen, who passed on Thursday, September 25, 2025, at the age of 74, at Ascension Via Christi St Francis Hynes Hospice Unit, Wichita, Kansas. He was born on Saturday, May 12, 1951 in Wichita, Kansas to J.N. Hoefgen and Marion (Cody) Hoefgen.  He lived his life in Valley Center, and Park City (Wichita), Kansas. He had two sisters Teresa Hoefgen Venable and Tammy Hoefgen Schmedeman. Jerry worked for his parents at the Jayhawk Lumber Yard in Valley Center.  He was a 1969 graduate of Valley Center High School. He enjoyed his time spent in Western Kansas for wheat harvest many summers. He worked at Cessna, Boeing and Star Lumber in Wichita, Kansas.  He met and married Georgia L. Wilson Hoefgen on May 19, 1984, she survives him; children Ronnie Irey, Brian Irey, Paula Hoefgen, Jerry Hoefgen Jr, Melissa Hoefgen Prock, Jason Hoefgen and Derek Hoefgen; proud grandfather of 20 grandkids and very proud of his 5 great grandchildren. He loved going to the indoor soccer team, the Wings for many years with his family. He truly will be missed.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2025 at Baker Funeral Home, 100 S. Cedar Ave, Valley Center, Kansas.  Condolences may be left for the family at www.bakerfhvc.com.
