Jeremy Scott Holt (Wormser), 46, a loving husband, father, son, and brother, was born on Wednesday, October 11, 1978, in Hutchinson, Kansas, to Gordon (Scott) Holt and Diana Holt (now Mitzner). He passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in Valley Center, Kansas.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Stephanie Holt, and their four sons: Ethan, Carter, Breckyn, and Kamden. He is also survived by his mother and stepfather, Diana and Chuck Mitzner; his grandmother, Fumiko Dirksen; his twin brother, Justin Holt (Melissa); and his two sisters, Brandi Baily and Staci Tretbar (Preston). Jeremy leaves behind his nieces and nephews: Blake Holt, Kadi Baily, Lexi Baily, and Ella Holt, along with many extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gordon (Scott) Holt, whom he deeply missed; his grandparents, Harry and Lois Guthrie and Harold Dirksen; and his uncle, Kenny Holt.
Jeremy grew up in Paragould, Arkansas, and moved back to Wichita in 1997. He was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs, NASCAR, and KU Basketball, and he was a true movie buff. Above all, Jeremy's greatest joy in life was being a father. He shared his love of wrestling with his boys, and they cherished watching matches together every Monday and Friday night.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Kechi Township Cemetery, 6523 N Hillside, Wichita, Kansas. Immediately following the service, a Celebration of Life will take place at the Valley Center Community Building, Sunflower Room, 314 E. Clay, Valley Center, KS.
Jeremy will be remembered for his humor, passion for sports and film, and above all, his unwavering love for his family. His legacy will be carried on through the lives of his four boys.
