Jeanne Marie Thompson , 70, of Valley Center, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 2, 2020. She was raised in rural Valley Center and a graduate of Valley Center High School. She was a retired mobile home park owner/operator. She was preceded in death by her parents, Larry and Martha Thompson and her brother, Michael Thompson. Her survivors include her daughter, Marna (Dustin) Kalp; grandchildren Bryce (Chelsea) Cartland, Morgan (Jacob) Stafford, Garett Kalp; her great-grandchildren Aubrey and Easton Cartland, Britton and Aria Stafford. In her early years, Jeanne took pleasure in teaching first aid CPR for the American Red Cross and had a passion for shooting in competition archery. She adored spoiling her dear grandchildren, going on gambling trips with her girlfriends, and animals of all shapes and sizes.
