Jeanene "Cheryl" Wise, 78, of Valley Center passed away on Sunday, April 13, 2025.  She was born in Wichita, Kansas on Monday, October 21, 1946 to William B. and E. Jane (Ramsey) Wise.

Cheryl grew up in Wichita, Kansas where she attended South High School.  She retired from AT&T.  After retirement she went on to become a CNA, where she spent her life caring for elderly people with "ALZ" (Alzheimer's).

She is preceded in death by her parents William and Jane Wise.

Cheryl is survived by her sister Jalene Berry, son Richard "Rick" (Karen) Nickels, daughter Donna (Sean) Postlethwait, grandchildren Danielle (Brian) Hallberg, Josiah (Brianna) Nickels, Nathan (Claire) Postlethwait, and Brooke Postlethwait, great grandchildren Kaden Nickels, Cooper Nickels, and Audrey Hallberg, many other family and friends.

Memorials may be designated in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association, Wichita, Kansas.

Graveside Service will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 16, at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 12010 W. 109th St. N., Bentley (Sedgwick), Kansas.
