JASON JOHN MITCHELL, 44, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2017. He was raised in the Wichita area and worked as a telecommunications cell phone tower tech. Jason is survived by his son Logan Mitchell; mother Vicki Mitchell of Wichita; father Steve Mitchell of Longmont, Colorado; brothers Jeremy Mitchell of Wichita, Ashton Mitchell, Jacob Mitchell, David Vong; sister Carolina Ahrendt; grandparents Vera Walker of Wichita, Lee and Connie Jones of Wichita; longtime companion Talya Stegeman; bonus sister Timarie Drew and bonus brother Chisholm Drew; nieces, nephew, other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his brother Stephen Mitchell, grandparents Donnie Walker, Lawrence and Joann Mitchell and bonus mom Loan Mitchell. Visitation 5-7 pm, Friday, March 17, at Baker Funeral Home Valley Center. Service is 10:00 am, Saturday, March 18 at Word of Life Church, 3811 N. Meridian, Wichita, Kansas.
