Janet Lyn Keef-Torkelson, 52, passed away on August 13, 2023 in Wichita, Kansas.

She was born in Wichita, Kansas to James and Jeannie Keef. She was a lifelong resident of Wichita. She was in the class of 1990 and graduated Wichita Southeast High School. After her graduation she trained at Mothers Grooming, then left to work at Indian Hills Animal Clinic, Cut-N-Strut Dog Grooming. Later, she owned her own dog grooming shop called All Breeds Pet Grooming. After that she worked for Bonjour's Puppy Parade.

She was an active member of Kairos Outreach, where she went on and supported families of people of incarceration.

Janet is preceded in death by James and Jeanie Keef, Barbara Byrd.

She is survived by Eric Torkelson, children: Jason Torkelson (step-son), Dalton Torkelson, Stratton Torkelson, Viviann Do (daughter in law), Chloe Torkelson, grandchildren: Trace Torkelson, Cannon Torkelson, Kinsley Torkelson, Xakaia Rai Pattinson, brother William Romine and sister Leanna Benson, numerous nephews, nieces, other family and friends.

Service will be held 4:00 pm on Saturday, September 9th, 2023  at Evidence Church, 11135 W Kellogg Dr, Wichita, Ks 67219.
