Janet Sue (Mattson) Crites, 67, beloved wife, mom, grandma, great grandma, sister and friend, passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2014. She was born in Enid, Oklahoma to Rudolph Walford Mattson and Enid Mae (Lacy) Mattson. She was a graduate of Heights High School, Wichita, Kansas. Janet fell in love and married Ronnie Crites on November 26, 1966 in Wichita, Kansas. She loved and enjoyed her family very deeply. She is survived by her husband Ronnie Crites; children, Christopher (Becky) Crites of Washington State, Cindy (Robert) Haley of Valley Center and Wally (Christy) Crites of Wichita; 8 grandchildren, Brittney Crites, Emily Crites, Timothy Crites, Jackson Crites, Dalton Haley, Ethan Haley, Garrett Crites and Brent Crites; 1 great grandchild, Lucian; and her sister Linda (Bill) Barton of Colorado Springs, Colorado; many other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Rudolph "Bill" and Enid Mattson. Services will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 17 at First Church of Nazarene, 1400 E. Kellogg, Wichita.
