Jana Lynne (Sorrell) Arneson was born on November 27, 1962. She passed away surrounded by family on March 23, 2025.  Jana was born in Wichita to Judy and Bruce Sorrell. After graduating from North High School in 1981, she attended Bethany College. While at Bethany, she met the love of her life, Bill Arneson.  Upon her graduation, they moved to Wichita. Jana taught at Ray Woodman Elementary School for seven years.  After teaching, she was able to fulfill her lifetime dream of being a stay at home mom.  As her children grew, she decided to combine her love for parenting and teaching by homeschooling her three children until 9th grade.  Jana also spent many hours in bible studies and fellowship with other believers.  She was always aware of those in need and provided hope.  Jana made the world a brighter place.

Jana is survived by her husband of 39 years Bill Arneson, son Luke Arneson, daughter Bethany (Aaron) White, daughter Hannah (David) McCune, and brother Bruce Sorrell.  Her true love was her four grandchildren (Denver 6, Clara 4, Grace 3, and Daisy 1).

A celebration of life service will be held at Orchard Community Church, 6556 N Randall Dr., Park City, Kansas on March 29 at 10 am.
