James Leo Westerfield, 88, retired Cessna Fabrication Foreman, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 13, 2014. He was born in Newton, Kansas to Leo O. Westerfield and Naomi (Tuttle) Westerfield. Jim served in the U.S. Army and was a World War II Veteran. He loved his church, his family and enjoyed them all very much. He is survived by his sons Rusty (Suzanne) Westerfield of Tulsa, OK, Scott (Susan) Westerfield of Skiatook, OK, Dwaine Westerfield of Valley Center, Brian (Robin) Westerfield of Wichita; daughter Kelly (Randy) Schmidt of Cheney; 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren. He is preceded by his wife Juanita Westerfield, grandson Doug Westerfield, brothers Bill Westerfield, Charlie Westerfield, Fred Westerfield, Donald Tuttle, and sister Jackie Graves.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, March 17 at the Valley Center Christian Church, 1801 E. Fifth, Valley Center, Kansas. Burial will follow the service at the Hillside Cemetery, Sedgwick, Kansas.
